Welcome to The Art School in Sønderborg

The Art school in Sønderborg is the Art School of Southern Jutland and people come from near and far to join our courses weekends and week days, mornings, afternoons and evenings.

 

The school was founded by artists in 1979. 

A 40 year old school with a lot of history and still going strong.

 

The art school is situated at the harbor of Sønderborg, in new and bright premises with a beautiful view to the castle, all in order to inspire you.

 

Whether you are 4 or 100 years old, beginner og experienced, we have courses meant to suit exactly your needs.

The Art school provides lessons in drawing, painting, watercolor painting, croquis, sculpture, graphics, history of art and much more.

BGK, Billedkunstnerisk Grundkursus, is a school for young talents between 15 and 25 years old who wish to go further with art and join for example an academy of art, architeture etc. During one year we prepare you for this.

The classes of ungBGK and BGK take place at the Art school.

All teachers are professional and executive artists.
